Companion Care / Sitter Services
Companion Care or Sitter Services are non-medical, basic supervision services to ensure a client’s safety and well-being. Overall wellness is not just a person’s physical health, but is also their emotional health, so care must also place an emphasis on social awareness, to enable their living independently at home. Services are designed to be appropriate for both the traditional home environment as well as independent or assisted-living residents. From simple social companionship to sharing their favorite pastime, our caregivers seek to encourage clients to bathe, get dressed and take their medication, to go out for various social activities.
Companion Care Programs Include (but are not limited to):
Socialization and Companionship
Meal Planning and Preparation
Light Housekeeping and Laundry
Errands
Escorting on Appointments
Medication Reminders
Planning and Encourage Social Activities
Organization of Mail and Paperwork
Safety, Comfort and Peace of Mind
Companions can spend selected days in a week or a few hours a day with the senior. This service can also double as safety supervision for those living alone.
Private Duty Personal Care
Personal Care Services are for those who would benefit from an elevated level of assistance with personal grooming, hygiene, toileting assistance, mobility assistance, eating and feeding, as well as monitoring of vital signs. By providing clients with Personal Care at home, we help them maintain good hygiene and regular eating/medication intake habits necessary to their health. Mobility assistance provides the client lifts and transfers, exercising, and walking enabling the senior to maintain a more active life.
Our caregivers are there to assist the client to feel their best. They assist the client to accomplish the activities of daily living. Beyond companionship and performing basic housekeeping tasks, The CareGivers provide a customized plan of care that delivers the personal care to meet your needs as defined by our Registered Nurse regular reviews.
More importantly, the Personal Care staff can provide safety supervision. In case there are emergencies at home, your caregiver can immediately alert family members or coordinate with medical professionals directly.
Many times, Private Duty Personal Care Services can mean the difference between staying in the comfort of your own home or moving to a variety of alternative living environments.
